The professionals at RoofTech have everything you need! “We are a full service roofing and sheet metal operation for residential, commercial, and industrial clients,” explains RoofTech Owner/President Billy Cone. “From installations to repairs, we have the equipment and expertise to get the job done right!”

Founded in May of 2001, RoofTech has steadily gained an excellent reputation throughout their service area of Broward, Palm Beach, and Dade counties. In part, this is due to Billy’s exceptional knowledge of the industry as well as his problem solving capabilities. He also has the ability to anticipate industry trends, such as Green Roofing, and to pursue new service offerings. He has earned the respect and loyalty of others along the way.

RoofTech employs approximately 35 people. The firm operates three full-time service/repair crews as well as their standard roofing crews. In addition, they have two custom sheet metal crews.

Meet the Owner – Billy Cone

Billy grew up around a roofing business; worked in the oil fields of Oklahoma, repairing drilling rigs; spent time as a welder, repairing b-52 aircraft parts; and returned to the roofing industry.

“Billy emulates confidence and invokes trust between the roofing industry and the public,” declares wife Lynn. “He is very knowledgeable both to others in the field as well as to the average customer.”

Billy lived in Oklahoma for 28 years and in Fort Lauderdale for 19. He and Lynn live in Lantana. Billy enjoys water sports, snow skiing, rafting and traveling. But most importantly he likes to be with his family, especially his ten grandchildren. Twin sons Wesley and Michael each have a set of twins as does their daughter Amanda.
